For the past 11 years as an artist-run centre, Gallery 1313, has brought artists, critics, scholars, students and community organizations together by providing a much needed space for artists to show their work. Our four unique exhibition spaces house over 70 annual exhibitions featuring both Canadian and International artists yearly. Our reputation for mounting challenging, high quality, contemporary art exhibitions continues to grow.
On Monday, May 11th 2009, Gallery 1313 will be presenting Revelry IV, our annual art auction and fundraiser. The event will be hosted by Nalini Sharma, of television’s CityTV and CP24 with Perry Tung, from Ritchies Auction House guiding the auction. With over 200 excited people in attendance bidding and outbidding each other on art, gifts and services, the evening is sure to be a fun time!

Distort and Misconstrue EPSON & RYERSON UNIVERSITY PRESENT 14th ANNUAL MAXIMUM EXPOSURE Exhibition runs April 16th - 19th at the Gladstone Hotel and Lennox Contemporary
Maximum Exposure is the year-end exhibition featuring the work of the students of Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts. The exhibition is currently in its 14th year and will showcase the work of more than 150 emerging image-based artists in the fields of Photography, Film and New Media. The exhibition will be curated by two alumni from the program, Daniel Garcia and Robyn McCallum. Fourth year work will be exhibited atthe Gladstone Hotel, while a selection of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year work will be displayed at Lennox Contemporary.
